Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours after the puppy is received for a complete physical examination. If within 72 hours from the time you, the buyer, take possession of the puppy, it is found by a licensed veterinarian not to be in good health, I, the breeder, Judy K. Burns, agree to refund the purchase price upon return of the puppy to me. I, the breeder, am not responsible for any expenses incurred with shipping, care or veterinarian expenses. A refund will be given only upon receipt of the report from a licensed veterinarian. Your puppy will also be guarantee for an additional 5 days, against Parvo and Distemper once he/she leaves my care.
Your puppy is guaranteed to be free from congenital defects for 1 year from the date of birth. All shipping charges when applicable are non-refundable. If your puppy is found to have congenital defects within the one year time period, you may return the dog to me, the breeder, at the buyer’s, expense including shipping expense, with a written statement from a licensed veterinarian for a new puppy. I, the breeder am not responsible for any veterinarian bills you may acquire as the buyer. A replacement puppy will be provided when one becomes available of equal value, although it might not be of same color and/or pattern. All care will be done for this to take place within a 6 month period of time after being notified of a problem and receiving all documentation from your veterinarian. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be reimbursed by the seller. In the event the buyer chooses to keep the puppy instead of wanting a replacement puppy, there is NO Cash Refunds in any amount.
Failure to take your puppy within this time period will result with all stated warranties becoming Null and Void.
I do not give cash refunds, partial or full, for any reason except under the stated above guarantee. There are No Exceptions.
I do not guarantee for illnesses due to stress associated by shipping or changing homes. This includes coccidia, worms/parasites, and kennel cough that have lain dormant and the stress of changing environments trigger it.
I do not guarantee temperament after a 10 day period of time, as environment and how the puppy is cared for can affect your puppy's personality.
I do not guarantee adult size as this can be affected by environment, food fed, metabolism, and even spaying/neutering.
I do not guarantee coat length or color of the adult dog.
I do not guarantee if the dog is sold for breeding that he/she will have no whelping or breeding problems. This includes the fertility of the dog.
I do not guarantee that the dog will attain his/her championship if sold for show. I only guarantee that he/she is a representation of a dachshund following the AKC Standard to the best of my ability.
Your puppy will be current on vaccinations and worming for the age when the puppy or dog is picked up. In the event shipping is required, I do not ship the pup till he/she has had at least 2 vaccinations. It will be up to the buyer to continue the routine care and a shot record will be provided for you to take to your veterinarian. It is very important to continue the vaccinations and worming schedule for your puppy. It is also recommended that your dog being sold for Pet/Companion to be Spayed/Neutered at approve age, recommended by your veterinarian.
You, the buyer, agree to take good care of the puppy and to provide adequate food, water, housing, and medical care. The buyer agrees to follow the breeder’s recommendations regarding feeding, training, exercise and general care. Please remember puppies are babies too! They need plenty of rest, daily fresh water, food in clean bowls, a warm and dry place to sleep, regular exercise and plenty of tender loving care from you. In the event you, the buyer have young children, you will supervise at all time during play. Dachshunds love water. In the event you have a swimming pool, you must supervise at all times while your puppy has access to it.
In the event that the dog cannot be kept for whatever reason by the buyer, the seller will have the right of first refusal to take the dog back or will try to help the buyer find a good home for the dog.
The buyer and the seller agree that this is the full and complete agreement and No other oral agreements exists between the parties for the sale of this dog. All additional agreements will be added under Conditions in the contract.
