LIMITED REGISTRATION AND A SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT

What is a Spay/Neuter Contract and Limited AKC Registration

This means that the puppy or canine is being sold with limited restrictions and that you may not show or breed the dog. If you decide to go ahead and have puppies, they can not be registered with The American Kennel Club.

Registration Papers will either be given when the puppy is picked up or will be forwarded to the buyer upon receipt from AKC, if they are still being processed. In some cases, AKC Papers will be retained until written proof that the dog has been spayed or neutered, by the buyers Veterinarian, is presented to the Seller. It is understood at the time of the sale, this dog is a representation of its breed and is structurally and temperamentally suited for a companion or obedience dog.
You may NOT register this dog with any other kennel registries such as CKC (Continental) APRI, and/or ACA and use the puppy for breeding. In the event the terms of this agreement is not complied with, the seller is entitled to $5000 in damages and the return of the Dog (including all paper work to prove ownership) plus any legal fees and cost associated with the enforcement of this agreement. Any actions taken will be conducted within the state of Texas, Parker County.

Puppies will be AKC registered unless otherwise specified and have a one year Hereditary-Congenital life threatening Defect problem, health guarantee. Upon acceptable diagnosis of above hereditary/congenital defects (e.g. epilepsy, primary glaucoma, general PRA) that prevents it from being a quality companion, pet will be replaced with another of like sex/value, at seller's discretion when one becomes available. Or owner may keep the said dog with all incurred medical expenses.

All puppies will have the required vaccinations and de-worming before it is placed in its new home. Buyer needs to be a where that this is a young puppy and because of change in environment stress related illness might occur, especially when shipping is required. Seller cannot be responsible for these type illnesses.

It is recommended that the dog be examined by a Licensed Veterinarian during the first 72 hours from date of purchase. A Full Refund will be given for any dog found unhealthy during the first 72 hours. An additional 5 days will be warranted against Parvo/Distemper once dog leaves my care. Your Veterinarian's written statement of diagnosis, including a description of all symptoms supporting that diagnosis, with results of test performed, and why he or she feels the dog is a poor health risk, MUST be presented at the time the dog is returned. Seller is NOT responsible for any Veterinarian charges or Shipping Charges if applicable. If buyer DOES NOT take the dog for a check-up within these 72 hours from date of purchase, this warranty stated above, becomes null and void.

Once the dog leaves my care, unless for the medical reasons under the above guarantee, there is NO CASH REFUND for the return of the dog.

All Lemon Law Guarantee throughout the US will not be honored past 10 days of dog leaving my care, Judy K. Burns of Judy Kay's Dachshunds.

If for any reason in the future, you can not provide a safe and healthy home for your dog, you are to give seller first option to take the dog back or to find replacement home. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are you to ever turn your dog over to a shelter or SPCA or will you abandon the dog.

Buyer acknowledges that this written agreement constitutes the entire agreement regarding health, condition, care, and loss of the dog between buyer and Judy K. Burns and that buyer has relied on NO oral representation other than this written agreement.

FEEDING SCHEDULE:
Purina PRO Plan Chicken & Rice
For puppies 6-8 weeks of age, two to three times daily
soften the dry in warm water.
Puppies 9 weeks and older, one to two times daily dry with a small amount of can Pedigree for puppies.

It is recommended to you, not to take your puppy around other dogs, into stores, or outside ground other than your yard, until your puppy has had the entire series of shots.
