Terms: (all terms will be abided by with exception to those items in exceptions sections)

1 Dachshund is being sold as a “Pet Only” for the sole purpose of companionship with No Guarantee of conformation and/or temperament.

2. If the pet is not yet spay/neuter, then it is required to be done within 3-6 months from day of purchase. (Depending on age of dog).

3. The seller will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by this Dachshund.

4. Dachshund will be provided a clean, safe environment with shade, fresh food and clean water, where they will not be subject to teasing or abuse, and will live primarily indoors with buyers and will not be left outdoors during extreme weather conditions.

5. Under NO circumstances will this pet be turned over to any pet dealer, puppy mill, pet shop, commercial kennel, animal institution/control, dog pound/shelter, SPCA, or other facility. Dog will not be allowed to roam unrestricted outside of secure fencing. (unsupervised)

6. If Dachshund is no longer wanted, for any reason, or can no longer be cared for, Dog must be returned to seller, unless other arrangements are mutually agreed in writing. NO Refunds will be given.

7. Seller believes Dog is in good health and vaccinations are current for dog’s age and both seller and buyer agree pet appears healthy. Seller warrants NO Guarantee on infectious disease. Hereditary –Congenital 1 year guarantee is listed on Contract page. Health guarantees do not go into effect till new owner has the dog in their possession.

All Lemon Law Guarantee throughout the US will not be honored past 10 days of dog leaving my care, by Judy K. Burns of Judy Kay's Dachshunds.

8. Veterinarian fees for the dog, from date of delivery forward will be the sole responsibility of buyer and costs will not be reimbursed to buyer for any reason.

9. Buyer will take Dog to a Veterinarian, for a complete health examination within 72 hours of delivery. If Dog is found to have a debilitating illness or congenital disease within these same 72 hours, seller shall be notified and a written statement from the Veterinarian stating these conditions must be presented to Seller at time the Dog is returned. Seller may offer another dog of equal sex and value or Full Refund of purchase price minus non-refundable deposit/delivery amounts. Seller must be notified within these 72 hours and arrangements made for the return of the pet. If Pet is not taken to the Veterinarian within these 72 hours, all warranties are null and void. NO REFUNDS for the return of the Dog.

10. Dog will be examine by a Veterinarian once yearly for health checks, parasite prevention program, yearly rabies and heartworm preventative.

11. Delivery charges associated with shipping the Dog to new owners are non-refundable.

12. Dog can not be registered with any other kennel registries such as CKC (Continental), APRI, or ACA and be used for breeding.

13. In the event the terms of this agreement is not complied with, the seller is entitled to $5000 in damages and the return of the Dog (including all paper work to prove ownership) plus any legal fees and cost associated with the enforcement of this agreement. Any actions taken will be conducted within the State of Texas, Parker County.
